- "Board passes strict club regulations.". In response to problems raised by the United Student Movement (USM), (sponsored by Ron Jones), the Palo Alto School Board passed a resolution requiring disclosure of affiliations of on-campus student groups with outside organizations.
- "Orchestra winds blow in from SC". University of Southern California Wind Orchestra to visit campus on Feb. 1, 1968.
- "Yes or no? Teachers discuss IF question", By Neil Howe. Discussion occured within the faculty, based on the prior experiment with Idea Forum which occured the previous April (1967). The idea originated with teachers Ron Jones and Chad Osborne. Physics teacher Art Farmer also gave his opinion, as well as English teacher Barney Tanner, history teacher Tom Stamper, and Mr. Peters in the music department.

- "Senior chosen Junior Miss" - photo by Charles Scott. Senior Pearl Tom won the Palo Alto Junior Miss contest by Palo Alto Jaycees.
- "Parents exchange teenagers proves valuable experience", by Mike Hamilton. Roger Farnsworth goes to Oslo, Norway, while a son of his host family, Sissel Cristoffersen (It says age 6, but I suspect this was supposed to be 16) stays with the Farnsworth family in Palo Alto.
